| The Diabetes Life Magazine is dedicated to helping all those living with diabetes and who are in the pre-diabetes category. The Co-Founders of Diabetes Life and the Editors-in-Chief have a history of diabetes in their family. This includes 2 Co-Founders’ daughters, mother and father, and one himself. The loss of their mother in 2003, due to complications from diabetes, exemplifies the impact of this disease for all of us. Diabetes Life was developed to help meet the needs of ALL people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, regardless of age, gender, race or socioeconomic status. Diabetes Life Magazine is an organization of action that you can count on! | Diabetes Life, which consists of volunteers and experienced professionals, has no intention of standing alone in the fight against diabetes. We are aggressively seeking to develop the strongest TEAM possible by working with other organizations that are “results-oriented”. We are committed not just on paper, but from the heart. The bottom line is that action speaks louder than words. By forming a TEAM of action that produces positive results, we can empower our citizens through Awareness, Education and Support to live a healthier lifestyle. In turn this will create a better quality of life. It is all about working together to make a positive difference in the lives of others. |
